Please reach us at if you cannot find an answer to your question.
What we will do is have someone physically come to your home and survey what exactly you want done. We will measure and take photos of the areas you want worked on, we will take it back and put a formal quote in e-mail form and send it back to you within 24 hrs.
We prefer our customers to be there to discuss, however, as long as there is good communication we can do it without you present.
If your lawn is over 5" long at the beginning of your service, a one-time surcharge will be applied to compensate for the additional time needed for the initial mowing and additional wear and tear on the equipment. This surcharge is billed at an hourly rate included in your quote. This surcharge will not apply after the initial visit.
As you're aware, fuel prices have risen dramatically since Spring 2022. Fuel makes up a significant portion of what it costs to provide you with our convenient, high-quality yard care service. We've done everything in our power to shield our customers from the rising fuel cost.
Unfortunately, we are in a position where we must implement a TEMPORARY fuel surcharge for all service visits. This fuel surcharge will appear as a separate item on your invoice, as we hope to be able to remove the surcharge in the future.
Thatch is the accumulation of old leaves, clippings, stems, roots, and other organic material which has failed to decay. Thatch sheds water rather than letting it filter into the grass root zone. It may harbour fungus and other diseases, as well as insect pests and may make fertilizer applications ineffective.
Dethatching is recommended once a year, either in the spring or fall followed by fertilizer and overseeding.
Over time for various reasons, lawns get thin or weak in spots. The process of overseeding allows for those spots to be filled in over the following weeks. Before overseeding it is best to mow the lawn then spread the seeds evenly. Seeds should be covered with soil (If in an open patch) or raked into the lawn (If equally spread throughout the lawn) for proper germination and to ensure they won't blow away or get eaten by birds. Fertilizer can be applied at the same time to feed existing grass as well as help the new seeds.
